Twelve-Spotted Skimmer Dragonfly
I find it really fun to look at small things closely and recreate them on a much larger scale. So, my fascination led to this drawing of a twelve-spotted skimmer dragonfly. The original size is 20 in. x 30 in. Traditionally drawn and painted digitally with Photoshop CS6, 2015.

Divergent
This is my version of a book cover for the popular book Divergent by Veronica Roth. I enjoyed reading this book before I created the cover, and I felt that it was fitting to create a cover based on the dynamics of the faction system and foreshadow its eventual breakdown. Digitally painted in Illustrator CS6, 2015.

The Island of Dr. Moreau
This is a cover I created for The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells. I wanted to hint at Dr. Moreau's creations and how they revert back to their animal instincts despite Dr. Moreau's desperate attempts to make them human. Traditionally drawn and digitally painted in Photoshop CS6, 2015.

Mechanical Creature
This is a fun little creature I created that was inspired by amphipods. Digitally painted in Photoshop CS6, 2015.

Fear Project
This illustration represents my fear of not being able to take my ideas and put them on paper. I represented myself with my eyes, and created my brain and background with a maze pattern to emphasize the feeling of being stuck and searching for a solution. I hid a lightbulb within the maze to represent my ideas. Traditionally drawn and digitally painted in Illustrator CS6, 2015.

Bitterblue
This is a cover I created for Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore. I wanted to portray Bitterblue's situation, in which she has to search through her father's lies to get to the truth, and how she begins to find a solution with help from her mother. Digitally painted in Photoshop CS6, 2015.
